⦁ BIO: The latest daughter in a long line of nurses and doctors, Mimi has lived a life under great pressure from her family to pursue a career in the medical field and succeed.

Not that she really needed to be pressured all that much.

From a young age, Mimi has taken to knowledge like a fish to water. She grew up a voracious reader and an excellent student, threw herself to her studies without being asked, and consistently performed excellently academically. Mimi has had no trouble sinking herself into her books and thrills at the opportunity to fill holes in her own knowledge. But of particular interest to her is any bit of information that holds an edge to it – not only facts pertaining to the peculiar fragility of the human body and all of its disgusting functions, but also strange and esoteric knowledge, the kind which few people sought out. Mimi considers the occult and the strange just as fascinating and worthy of study as matters of harder science.

She was a natural fit for med school, and her hard work in high school paid off with an acceptance to a university in Tokyo. Here, Mimi has thrived between the pages of textbooks and in lectures, studying every moment she can, soaking in the academic atmosphere of her new school and life in the city. She can hardly wait for the next semester to start while she sits on her hands back in her hometown.

Though it’s convenient to let people think that she pursued medicine from some desire to help people, the truth is much less complicated – she simply wants to be paid to slice people open.

⦁ WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER'S GREATEST STRENGTH? WHAT DO THEY THINK IT IS?: Her thirst for knowledge. It is her greatest asset, easily, and Mimi knows it. This is what carries her through her life, her studies, her misadventures in Shiokawa. Her need to know all there is to know has led her to constant improvement, new experiences, and to a wide base of knowledge which she can employ as she needs. However, this is also her Achilles' heel. Learning is the one thing that she can never deny herself - even when she really, really should.
⦁ IF YOUR CHARACTER WERE TO LEARN WHAT THE REWARDS WERE FOR ALLYING WITH A GOD, OR WHAT THE CONSEQUENCES WERE FOR REJECTING THEM, WOULD THEY REGRET THEIR CHOICE? IF THEY COULD RE-CHOOSE, WOULD THEY?: If she had known that her decision risked her cognitive functions, even by remote chance, she would regret it immediately. She knows that her head is her strength, and prizes it above all other things. Mimi has a strong disdain for religion at large, but the dread she would feel at the mere chance of losing her ability to learn, retain, or access new information may be one which outweighs this. Having said this, if her choice did not lead to these effects, then I don't think she would change it.
⦁ IF YOUR CHARACTER FOUND A DOG CAUGHT IN A TRAP, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHIOKAWA FOREST FRAUGHT WITH MONSTERS AND HUNTERS AND OTHER ELDRITCH FUN, WOULD THEY HELP THE POOR CREATURE? OR WOULD THEY BE DISTRUSTFUL GIVEN THE SETTING AND THEREFORE UNSURE?: She would know that she should leave it, of course. It's just a dog, and saving it would risk Mimi's own life. But despite her slightly ghoulish nature, Mimi is no monster. If it's within her means, she saves the dog.

If it's a dog, then she's done her good deed for the day - and it might even benefit her. If it's not, well, cutting it open will be a useful learning experience.
